Digital television offers us many potential benefits in picture quality. Included amongst these is the ability to store and copy material with no loss of quality or fidelity. It may seem that in this environment the invisible watermark has many applications including audit trails, copyright protection, piracy prevention, copy control, revenue collection and archive tagging.
