Abstract :
This paper describes a 30 GHz Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA) to be used in small earth stations operating with 30/20 GHz satellite payloads and employing antennas not larger than one meter. The SSPA is foreseen to be mounted directly behind the antenna feed in the front-end subsystem and it shall provide reliable service in unattended operation.
