Comparison of public health management after the two serious earthquakes

The infectious disease is the secondary disaster after serious earthquake. By comparing of Tangshan Earthquake and Wenchuan Earthquake in public health management, the paper summarizes the successful experiences of disaster epidemic prevention and analyses public health management problems in Wenchuan earthquake. Some countermeasures are proposed for disaster epidemic prevention, such as integrating epidemic prevention system, perfecting standard, establishing hygienic evaluation, planning material reserve and developing epidemic prevention equipment.
