Abstract
Phellinus baumii Pilat is a kind of macrofungi with abundant ingredients of polysaccharide, flavones, coumarin and so on, it has high nutritional value and activities of anti-tumor, immune regulation, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. Solid fermentation of Phellinus baumii Pilat could not satisfy the market need and submerged fermentation may be an alternative way for the production of the fungus metabolites. The active ingredients and their pharmaceutical activities, the production rate of submerged fermentation and extraction method were reviewed in this article and submerged fermentation and aqueous two-phase extraction methods were prospected in Phellinus baumii Pilat production and utilization.
