Service innovation management has only recently emerged as an academic discipline. Studies on innovation performance evaluation in the service sector, however, have received little attention from academic researchers. By reviewing relevant literature, this paper defines the service innovation performance and sets up a service innovation performance evaluation (SIPE) index system in service enterprise considering the characteristics of service innovation, with the theoretical guide of Balanced Scorecard. Then, this paper applies the performance evaluation system of service innovation to measure the service innovation performance of Wuhan Telecom Best Tone Center (WHTBTC), and proposes several management suggestions.
