Abstract :
This paper was study on the effect of drying conditions on thin-layer drying of maize. Maize thin-layer drying experiment was conducted and the effect of air temperature, relative humidity and air velocity on drying rate were analyzed, and the parameters a and b in thin-layer drying equation were derived from experimental results. The results shows that, drying air temperature and relative humidity have significant effect on drying rate, while air velocity also has some effect.
