Abstract :
The paper deals with the development of a large contoured beam orthogonal equispaced microstrip array with flat topped/constant flux radiation pattern. The special radiation pattern is used to improve the interference behaviour and the signal dynamic range in a highly time variant mobile scenario. The differences to standard technologies are clearly outlined. The system parameters, the design procedure and the results are investigated in detail.
