Abstract :
Microgrid (MG), a recently emerging generation power technology in overseas, is predicted to play an increasing role in future power systems due to its potential and immense benefits. But some technical problems of MG are still challenging if it is to make a significant contribution to energy supply. Therefore, this paper outlines the technical issues associated with MG such as control, energy storage, switch, communication infrastructures, and etc. integrating with current situation of ongoing MG in developed country, presenting study applications corresponding to them.
