Abstract :
Because it is neoteric technology to three-dimensional (3D) laser scanning which may be applied in protection and reconstruction of ancient architectures, its data acquisition model of field working and error sources need further research. The paper proposes three schemes of field working based three-dimensional laser scanner. They are respectively introducing external coordinate system methods with the total station, neighbor stations registration method based on targets, no target registration method. With Leica HDS3000 scanner, the rigorous experiments have been carried out for above each scheme. The results verified their feasibility and gained rich practice experience, which will provide guidance for field working of three-dimensional laser scanning, and also has important significance to draw up working norms of three-dimensional laser scanning.
