Abstract :
It has been shown that High-Te superconducting thin films are suited for a variety of microwave circuit functions. However the noise properties of structures made from these materials have not been investigated intensely. Modifications to the well-known Dicke-radiometer are made to obtain a measurement system suited for the investigation of noise in active High-Tc superconductors. The modifications are described in detail, and results obtained using the measurement system are presented.
