Abstract :
In order to reach highest level of service of existing transport hub, and to distribute several kinds of passenger flows, here based on investigation of passengers´ rational choice of travel mode when leaving station, the most influencing factors of the demand function model on traffic capacity outside the hub are extracted. In order to assess the synchrony of traffic flow between hub and road nearby, this paper analyzes the match between capacity and actual traffic volume. Finally, an evaluation about the hub service can be made. Take Hankou Train Station for a case study, we testify the feasibility of this method. The result can also provide the theory foundation for transport transformation and evaluation.
