Abstract :
In this paper we introduce a conformal model for stereoscopic perception systems. This model fuses stereoscopic views using an extended 3D horopter concept. This model is suitable for building a powerful binocular head for humanoids, intuitive man-machine interfaces and advanced 3D automated visual inspection
