Abstract :
The most present timing algorithms all are only suitable to non-fading channel. If they were used in fading channel, the performance of synchronization will decline obviously. In this paper, the property that the fractionary spaced equalizer (FSE) is almost independent of the timing-phase is considered, and the joint FSE and auxiliary timing method is used for timing recovery and compensating of the ISI introduced by channel. The simulation result shows that the joint method is a simple and effective resolution scheme for demodulation of communication signals in fading channel.
