Abstract :
Photovoltaic solar heat pump (PV-SHP) system, an integration of the photovoltaic/thermal and solar assistant heat pump technology, can be one promising and sustainable replacement of the conventional water heaters in future. This paper introduces a dynamic simulation model of our proposed PV-SHP system. Numerical results of the system performance are discussed based on the Typical Meteorological Year weather data of Hong Kong.
