Abstract
A new elaboration technique for a self-mixing interferometer is described. The basic principle consists in measuring the duty-cycle of each interferometric fringe, in order to find the target direction, even in the case of low optical back-reflection regime. By means of this algorithm a real-time sensor has been realized, able to measure vibrations and displacements over non cooperative targets.
