Abstract :
In this paper the model of composite bushings is presented with equivalent circuit and the voltage distribution along the outer surface of the bushing is given by application of numerical solution of MATLAB function. The electric field strength distribution along the surface and the potential distribution respectively are got. The surface situation of contamination is presented by the surface resistance and the influence of the contamination on the voltage distribution and the electrical strength are also studied. Finally the impaction of the different structure of the bushing and the power source voltage on the electrical field distribution are also calculated with the concerning method. All the calculation results will provide significant theoretical reference to the designing of the bushings even with more voltage level.
