Abstract
Based on the butterfly arch continuous girder bridge in HeiHe, China, this paper mainly deals with a quantitative risk analysis for V-shaped pier during the construction process, by using Analytic Hierarchy Process - Grey Correlation Analysis method. Firstly, hierarchical model of risk analysis is established, and structural property is identified as the highest risk factors during V-shaped pier construction using the AHP theory. Secondly, the optimal construction scheme with the least risk is chosen from candidates by using GCA method, according data obtained in AHP analysis. It concluded that, the AHP-GCA method shows good accuracy, and has an advantage over qualitative analysis. It is reasonable and applicable, providing a theoretical basis for risk decision-making during the construction of V-shaped pier.
