Evaluation on structural changes of peasant´s income growth in Heilongjiang reclamation area based on projection pursuit model

In view of diversity and complexity of elements of structural changes of peasant´s income growth, in this paper, by using projection pursuit model to analyze the changes of peasant´s net income changes in Heilongjiang reclamation area from 2004 to 2008, we found that on one hand policy shift income has been the new growing element for peasant´s income growth in Heilongjiang reclamation area, on the other hand the wage income and the income from household business has been still the main part of peasant´s net income, but their contribution to peasant´s income growth in Heilongjiang reclamation area has been weakened. The research shows that the peasant´s income growth needs not only the external environment support, i.e. policy, but also the development of the internal potential.
