  • Abstract
The coupling plays a key roles in the process of the shaft parts torsion. Membrane is a key component of the coupling, membrane damage is the main form of coupling failure. In order to meet the design requirements, through solid modeling of the membrane, use to MSC.patran as the analysis platform for modal analysis, through the finite element method to verifies. The results showed that: the target membrane can meet the design requirements. Modal analysis is a means of structural dynamic analysis, by analyzing the dynamic characteristics of engineering structures, the structure could be established in response to dynamic excitation conditions, predict the actual work of state structures in the work of behavior and its impact on the environment.
