Abstract
Substrate removed GaAs/AlGaAs nanowire waveguides are fabricated with 2 pi /V-cm phase shift efficiency utilizing linear electro-optic and free carrier effects. The proper orientation of the waveguides is essential in realizing maximum phase shift efficiency.
