Abstract
The evolution of the SSC (Superconducting Super Collider) main collider synchrotron design is discussed. Major design changes from the 1986 conceptual include the quadrupole spacing in the arcs, the injection energy, the magnet bore tube aperture, and the addition of detector bypass regions. Comments on work in progress are presented.<>
