Abstract
A very efficient yet rigorous method is presented for the analysis of chirostrip antennas embedded in a substrate above an infinite ground plane. The method is based on the well known spectral domain moment method and can be used for the analysis of single elements and arrays as well. The antenna is fed by a three-dimensional electric point-source. We have found a way to evaluate analytically a great part of the infinite integrals involved with the spectral domain moment method. This results in a great reduction of computer time.
