  • Abstract
    Wireless media characteristics from the point of view of medium access protocol design has been presented. Phenomena having influence upon network behaviour have been described. Collision avoidance and detection methods applicable for wireless channels have been presented. Methods of protocol efficiency estimation have been characterised.
