Abstract
The input power dynamic range is investigated for a polarization independent all-optical 3R regenerator based on cross- and self-phase modulation in highly nonlinear fibers. The performance is assessed in terms of the jitter, extinction ratio, signal-to-noise ratio, and receiver sensitivity.
