Abstract :
An important aspect of EMI (electromagnetic interference) diagnostics of high voltage power systems is the recognition and identification of various video and audio patterns present in the radio frequencies generated by partial discharges and arcing activity. This paper presents the first audio frequency analysis of several common sources of EMI.
