Abstract :
The Meteorological environment in sea battlefields has a significant effect on the operational effectiveness of weaponry & equipment (OEWE), and even may alter a war´s entire course. While Meteorological Environment Information (MEI) is a type of fuzzy information, the membership cloud theory is a useful tool for fuzzy data mining and information processing. Therefore, the fuzzy MEI´s influence over OEWE is first discussed in this paper, then a method for MEI satisfaction evaluation based on membership cloud is put forward, with its feasibility and practicality analyzed in combination with the application example. It is expected, that such evaluation method could provide an innovative perspective for effectively conducting the quantitative evaluation on MEI´s influence over OEWE.
