Abstract :
Reference map generation is a key to the scene matching guidance, which includes selection of scene matching area, geometric correction, grayscale correction, noise elimination, feature extraction. This paper presents an overview of the progress made in these techniques, analyses the related theories and methods and proposes some schemes for reference. Also the prospects of developing trends in these techniques are presented.
