Abstract :
The spatial data model is one of the core technologies of 3D geological modeling. The expression and precision of the model directly affect the effects of the visualization and application of geological body. A framework is proposed consisting of model definition, model classification and design method by classifying, comparing and analyzing for spatial data model. The data structure and topological relationship of the typical spatial data model are proposed, which are suitable for geological simulation. The experimental results show that the method designed in this paper can accurately represent the phenomena of complex geology and improve the precision and quality of 3D models.
