To realize information integration of virtual pulp and paper enterprise

In this paper, how to realize information integration of virtual pulp and paper enterprise (VPPE) is mainly researched. Virtual enterprise and VPPE are firstly defined. Then, information integration is discussed, where several kinds of integration are explained, some information sharing or integration methods are summarized, important information integration strategies are given out, and the reason of the integration of STEP and CORBA are explained. After that, the information infrastructure for a virtual enterprise is summarized, where communication, cooperation, heterogeneity, autonomy, dynamic properties, knowledge capturing and sharing are discussed in sequence. Next, supporting technologies to realize information integration of VPPE are put forward, which includes mobile agents technology and its middleware architecture, a kind of inter-organizational information integration technology and its system, process based service integration technology. Finally, some conclusions are drawn out and further research work is given out.
