Abstract
Active research has been carried out to achieve high spectral efficiency and more reliable coverages for high data rate wireless communication systems which include spatial diversity and multiplexing schemes. The BLAST-STTC systems are the combination of space-time coding and BLAST for multiple-antenna communication systems, which transmit information from many of STC encoder groups with two transmit antennas and cancel the interference from other groups in receiver. We propose a new ordered iterative decoding scheme for BLAST-STTC systems, which has lower computational complexity over traditional scheme and improves the system overall performance. The performance is analyzed through comparison to that of forward-ordered iterative decoding scheme.
