Abstract :
In this paper non-isolated interleaved DC-DC converters are proposed for high-step up application. The proposed converter has the following advantages: 1) Doubled voltage conversion ratio of the basic configuration (N=l) compared to the conventional boost converter 2) Low input current ripple, reduced size of the passive component and current stresses of switches due to interleaved structure 3) Increased flexibility in device selection by adjusting the number of voltage multiplier cells. Both hard-switching and soft-switching versions are proposed and compared each other. Experimental results from lkW prototypes are provided to validate the proposed concept.
