  • Abstract
A novel scheme for a boost power-factor-correction (PFC) converter is proposed to provide high-quality input current under both the heavy- and the light- load conditions for cloud-computing applications. An enhanced current loop is used to accomplish this purpose. The proposed scheme was implemented in a 750 W experimental boost PFC converter by a digital controller. Experimental results show significant improvement compared with conventional control schemes.
