  • Abstract
The roles of PNC are to provide the basic timing for the piconet with the beacon and to manages QoS requirements, power save modes and access control to the piconet. For effective coordinator selection, we propose a PNC selection method considering accessibility between DEVs and important element. Also, we show the data throughput of the PNC is affected by it´s location. This method can reduce the processing time because it only checks new DEV and PNC candidate DEVs in the list. With the list, PNC can immediately hand over control to PNC candidate without the PNC selection process. This is very useful when PNC want to leave or shutdown abruptly.
