Abstract
The stability properties of a class of controlled continuous stirred tank reactors (CSTR) with parameter uncertainties are-studied. Departing from the concept of practical stabilizability, it is proven that an input-output linearizing type feedback can take the trajectories of the reactor arbitrarily close to the set point, despite of parameter uncertainties. The resulting feedback is interpreted as a high-gain nonlinear one
