Abstract
A significant part of all electrical energy is consumed in lighting due to the low efficiency of traditional lamps and the over-illumination, in order to reduce the lighting electricity consumption, the design of an Intelligent Lighting System(ILS) for White Organic Light-emitting Device(WOLED) is presented in this paper, its network is connected using power line communication (PLC) technology, in which additional cables for the intelligent network is cancelled compared with ILS by Bus technology such as CAN bus or C-bus. Each WOLED lamp in the ILS is made of four parts: PLC module, sensors module, constant current power supply module and MCU. The structure of hardware and software of this system are introduced in details, and CSMA/CD protocol is utilized via PLC transceiver ST7538. The tested results show that this ILS for WOLED can communicate normally and complete the designed functions.
