  • Abstract
We study the influence of complex network topological structures on the traffic delivery based on the traffic awareness routing strategy. As free traffic flow on the communication networks is important to their efficient functioning, we focus on the network capacity that can be measured by the critical point of phase transition from free flow to congestion. Here we address influence of the topology on the dynamics of traffic flow for complex networks, taking into account the network topology, the information generating rate, and the information-processing capacity of individual nodes. Simulation results show that, there is a critical information generation point below which the network traffic is free but above which traffic congestion occurs. Moreover, the critical value is obviously different for different topological structures.
