  • Abstract
    This paper deals with the electromagnetic susceptibility of PC-based data acquisition systems. The data acquisition system (personal computer + data acquisition board) is approached as a whole system and subjected to all the conducted and radiated interference considered by IEC-61000-4-1. The experimental tests, carried out in shielded and semi-anechoic environments, highlight the relevance of a specific EMI characterization of this apparatus. In particular, the necessity of an efficient additional shielding for the PC-power cable and of an anti-aliasing input filter is clearly evidenced.
