Abstract

The FDDI microcomputer network system consists of FDDI adapters, FDDI concentrators and FDDI-Ethernet network bridges. To meet the requirement of FDDI high data transmission rate, the idea of the similar pipeline architecture is presented and accomplished in the system. The technology of the hardware building-block and software module is adopted in the design and implementation
