Abstract :
Micro-grid connect to the grid changed the traditional distribution system with single power source and radial network into a new distribution system with several power sources, power sources and loads can be found everywhere. So the reliability of distribution system with micro-grid would change greatly from the theory to the method. This paper introduce the micro-grid operation modes and the impacts to distribution system reliability, then apply the FMEA to evaluate the distribution system with micro-grid. In the last part of the paper apply the method proposed in the paper to evaluate feeder F4 in RTBS-BUS6 so as to prove the conclusion that the micro-grid should improve the reliability of distribution system.
