Abstract :
The computer simulations of die-casting process of aluminum alloy part were discussed. The distributions of temperature and solidification time in the filling process were numerical analyzed. Based on the simulated results and the Niyama criterion G/√R, the distribution of defects in the process of casting were accurately forecasted, which are conducive to the improvement of dies and perfection of foundry technologies thus avoiding the meaning less dies modification, increasing the success rate of dies tests and controlling the product quality.
