  • Abstract
    Concrete road constitute a high proportion of trunk highways and branch lines in China. As an evaluation index of concrete road quality, concrete rigidity has become an important performance parameter. Consequently, testing the concrete rigidity of concrete road is absolutely necessary during the road construction and acceptance in order to assure the quality and durablity of road. A wireless testing system for concrete rigidity based on virtual instrument was proposed in this paper. C8051F040 and wireless transceiver module nRF905 were used to build the wireless data transmission system hardware platform of lower computer. LabVIEW was used as the system´s development platform of upper computer, meanwhile, NRF905 and Atmega16 were combined to receive concrete rigidity data from lower computer through the wireless communication. The results showed that this system had reasonable design, compact structure, complete functions, convenient operation and high accuracy.
