Abstract :
The possibility to achieve quantum limited quasiparticle mixer sensitivity has been studied at 230 GHz. At this frequency important for ground base. radio astronomy we achieved the receiver noise temperature of about 32 K (DSB). The quasiparticle mixer noisq temperature was found to be near 5 K (DSB). This value is quite close to the quantum limit (0.5hv/k level) at 230 GHz.
