Abstract
In this talk, I would like to illustrate how humans minds and brains may be approached scientifically, with a particular focus on human visual system and its cognitive characteristics. As we shall see in the Special sessions “Fluency in Communication between Human, Machine, and Environment” in this afternoon, the cognitive science perspective can be applied to many issues of human perception, cognition, attention, action, and decision making.
