Abstract :
This paper summarized the basic characteristics of information, the basic content and key elements of information technology. It expounds the influence of the application of modern information technology in the field of education on education - education informationization. It further expounded the connotation of education informationization and analyzed the characteristics of education informationization from the aspects of technology and education. It also discussed the great changes on education brought by information technology and the reformation of education model in the circumstance of information technology.
