Abstract :
For the process of spatial data, in addition to the basic operations of insertion, deletion, update, and search, there are some special operations such as nearest neighbor search, spatial join, etc. Hung et al. proposed an algorithm based on an R-tree to perform the operation of spatial join for spatial objects. However, this algorithm is only suitable for the database of single-user environment. In this paper, we propose a version of multi-user environment. By the mechanism of concurrency control, our algorithm can make the spatial data be shared to many users.
