Abstract :
When painting with the high speed electrostatic rotation bell, on the surface of object being painted, many kinds of deposition models will be formed by the atomized painting particles. Based on the analysis of those deposition models, the β-distributed deposition model is studied adequately, and the coating thickness deposition function, which includes the paint flow bottom radius R, adjustment coefficient k, spraying gun´s moving speed v and spraying flow-rate Q0, is derived. Based on the coating thickness deposition function, the overlap distance between two adjacent spray pathes is optimized with MATLAB program, and those works could be the basis of path planning and designing for the spraying painting robots.
