  • Abstract
    The development of the Internet provides a great opportunity to the development of WebGIS, W3C launched GML and SVG standards for the development of WebGIS and opened up new way. In this paper, the system uses GML for data storage and exchange, SVG as a display of spatial data, and develops a GML and SVG file format standards based on systems need; In order to avoid large amount of data to reflect the impact of speed on the spatial data system, Introduced mid-tier database of SOA to raise the browser and operating speed; GML and SVG in the framework of standard documents, to achieve a multi-source heterogeneous data conversion. And we had built a WebGIS applications based on GML and SVG.
