Abstract
Methods for numerical time domain analysis of the steady state solution as well as the spectral behaviour of microwave oscillators are considered. For the self consistent determination of the steady state solution of oscillators a time domain boundary value (TDBV) method is described. The boundary value problem is solved with the multiple shooting algorithm. A method for calculating the spectral properties of an oscillator resulting from white noise sources, f-¿ noise sources and gr noise sources is presented. The methods are demonstrated on different examples of oscillator circuits.
