Study on the risk assessment based on the D-S theory

Aiming at the existing uncertainty in risk assessment, this paper takes advantage of the D-S theory in processing uncertain information to discuss the problems in risk assessment. Through modeling the hierarchy index system of the risk assessment, computing the value of the evaluation indicators and fusing the uncertain information, this paper illuminates the common steps that how to use the D-S theory to value the risk, and finally takes an example to prove the feasibility. This paper offers a new and more reasonable approach to deal with the uncertainty in risk assessment.
