Abstract
The experimental research of polarization rotation effects, which take place in artificial materials (volumetric chiral structures, photonic crystals) is presented. Three main types of such effect have been considered. The rotation due to electrodynamical Tamm state (surface state), the rotation due to volumetric features of rosette-type structure and rotation due to mixing of both reasons are under analysis.
